Hope for Homeowners program changes will help Florida residents

HUD recently announced changes to the Hope for Homeowners program which is designed to help distressed homeowners refinance their existing mortgages.

The new changes which can be found on the FHA press release, were created to help lower consumer cost and drive down the homeowners monthly mortgage obligation.

To qualify borrowers must show a long term ability to pay and the program is for owner occupants only.
