press release say that builders are doing what they can to help the real estate market get moving in a positive direction. Cutting prices along with offering incentives and reducing production are big steps towards recovery but the National
Association of Home Builders acknowledge that more must be done and are calling on congress to help by:
- expanding the first-time home buyer tax credit
- government buy-down of mortgage interest rates
