Florida Fire Marshall Association want new homes to have sprinkler systems

The Florida Fire Marshall Association is seeking to have residential codes change to require new homes to have automatic sprinklers.

Citing that 66% of fire deaths occurred in 1 and 2 family structures, the Association maintains that smoke alarms are simply not enough.

Fire sprinklers save lives, thats the bottom line. Fire alarms do very little to protect anything. They simply scream out loud when your house is already on fire. Why not prevent fire damage...install sprinklers!
