Sellers work to make their home more attractive to buyers

Home sellers have more competition than ever before as they attempt to sell their home, Record home for sale inventories in Central Florida give buyers more choices of homes in the same price range, size and location.

We encourage sellers to stage, paint, clean and do everything possible to put their home in the best light for prospective buyers. Are they following our suggestion?

There are 35,746 homes for sale in Central Florida and out of those:

  • 1,006 are listed are described as freshly painted, new paint, newly painted or fresh paint
  • 708 are described as either having new carpet or carpet cleaned
  • 649 are clean ( 5 are so clean that the term Mr. Clean lives here is used)

Sellers need to be aware that they may only have 1 chance to impress a buyer viewing their home. Fresh paint and a clean and neat house will help you in the long run to sell your home.
