Last year a combined 1800 condos sold in Lake, Osceola, Orange, Seminole and West Volusia according to information obtained from the MLS. This is compared to 2684 condo units that closed during 2007.
Right now there are nearly 5800 condo units for sale in those 5 Central Florida counties. If you search by county you will find:
- 167 condos in Lake County with 54 of those priced under $100,000.
- 3,422 in Orange County with 1657 priced below $100K
- 933 in Osceola, 305 under $100,000
- 862 in Seminole, 421 under $100K
- 414 in Volusia with 87 under $100k
The large inventory of condos coupled with the low prices could make this the right time to buy a Florida condo.
