Central Florida gas station now offers E85 ethanol

Governor Crist announced yesterday that that the Florida’s Turnpike Turkey Lake Service Plaza gas station has become the first station in Central Florida to offer E85 ethanol.

According to the National Ethanol Vehicle Coalition, E85 "is is the term for motor fuel blends of 85 percent ethanol and just 15 percent gasoline. E85 is an alternative fuel as defined by the U.S. Department of Energy."

It's great that e85 is finally available. Now maybe someone can explain why the price is so high. OPEC and oil speculators shouldn't be influencing a US resource.
