Florida fruit

Search for a home

Here is another great reason to move to or live in Florida. You can find the following fruit being grown in Florida according to the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services.

Asian pear, atemoya, avocado, bananas, blackberries, canistel, cantaloupe, carambola, grapes, guava, honeydew, longan, lychee, mango, mamey sapote, monstera, papaya, passion fruit, peaches, persimmons, strawberries and watermelon.

To be honest there are several fruits listed that I have not heard of, mostera, mamey sapote or canistel to name a few. Time to Google it.
