An industry survey reports that 79% of buyers felt that real estate agents were a useful source of home searching information. Real estate agents do have tremendous access to homes for sale but they also can provide buyers with additional sources of information that would be useful.
The information a real estate agent can provide includes:
- Detailed explanation of purchase agreements and other forms used to purchase a home
- County and City information of the home you are interested in
- Explanations of disclosures associated with purchasing a home
- They can provide a breakdown of costs involved with buying a home
- They know the local area and can provide information on shopping, entertainment and schools in the city or town
