The Veterans’ Benefits Improvement Act of 2008, which was signed into law on October 10, 2008 offers new options for the veteran to refinance conventional loans to a VA guaranteed home . Veterans now are able to refinance their subprime and conventional loans up to 100% o the value.

VA is helping reduce the homeless population among veterans
VA is taking steps to help reduce the amount of homeless veterans in this country including Orlando. In a VA news release dated November 8th VA acknowledged their efforts. I have included a couple of highlights from the release below.
- There has been a 22 percent reduction in the number of homeless veterans in comparison to estimates as recent as five years ago.
- More than $300 million in grants have been provided to local partners for homeless programs.
