Hundreds of buyers have found the best real estate deals in Central Florida

Search for homes

Hundreds of buyers have found the best real estate deals in Central Florida.

Over 700 real estate closings have taken place in my Central Florida market area since the first of the year through today. The number is actually closer to 800 according to information pulled from the multiple listing service when searching sold sales from Jan 1, 2009 - March 16, 2009.

Hundreds of buyers have found real estate deals good enough to contact real estate agents to view and make offers on. In many cases these good deals have received offers from multiple buyers wanting one of these "best deals".

Bank owned, foreclosed and pre-foreclosure homes make up a huge portion of the sales happening right now in Central Florida. You are in luck if you are a buyer looking for these great deals because I have complete access to all of those types of homes currently for sale. Contact me to receive your list of the best deals available.

Did we miss your call?

Hopefully you will be receiving a call back if you placed a call to one of our agents and we missed it.

Cell phones are a great tool for the real estate agent. We can be anywhere and still be reachable by phone.

This works great in theory but unfortunately to many sales people fail to answer their phones. Perhaps they are with a customer, or in a meeting or closing or it could be because the call came in during the agent's down time.

Agents will often put faith in the belief that if the call is important, the caller will leave a message. Forgetting the time, energy and money they or their company has devoted to making the phone ring, they put the obligation back on the caller. This is a mistake.

Realistically it is not possible to answer the phone each and every time it rings. When an agent misses a call, what should they do? Call the number back. This is extremely important when no message is left. This may seem like a simple step but good customer service is often in the simple things.

Your calls are important to us. We want to help you buy or sell a home. Give us a call. While you are welcome to leave a message should we not answer, hopefully we will call you back regardless.

Real estate sales success in 2006

Orlando Maitland's Watson office is off to a fast start in 2006. We are currently 66% ahead of last years closing and 6% ahead of last year in written business. Fresh off a 6 million + written week indicates that the momentum is in full swing.

www.gregstaker.com is inching up the ranks in several key terms. It just landed on the 1st page of google for "Lake Mary real estate"

I have started contacting seasoned agents. I am trying to key in on those who appear to have a net understanding. I think a few more associates who understand the term "reciprocal linking" could provide a benefit to the office

Watson's jar opener contest will begin soon. If you do not have one of these famous jar openers, email me and I will send you one.

Orlando has homes for sale

Latest numbers indicate over 10,000 properties are available in and around this area. Buyers now have the ability to compare and shop around a bit more than they did last year. Average days on the market is still around 37, so this would indicate a home priced correctly will still move quickly.

Key of the month is price reductions IF needed. Don't let the Orlando area home sit with no offers or activity. The "testing" the market with higher prices is a thing of the past now. The cma is correct unlike last year when it was anyone's guess what values were doing.

So is all hope lost? Heavens no. Those of us at Watson Realty are prepared for all markets. It is business as usual for the Maitland associates. Our group can offer the home seller professional, knowledgeable and sound advice with the best in marketing programs developed over decades with successful results.
