Citing the future of residential construction as uncertain the National Association of Home Builders Chief Economist stated in a recent press release, "Congress should consider providing further “sorely needed” economic stimulus to encourage homeownership and limit foreclosures in order to pull the U.S. economy out of recession."

Home builders building fewer homes
In the wake of fewer home buyers and rising inventories, new home starts fell in February according to a press release from the National Association of Home Builders.
