Florida Chief Financial Officer Alex Sink has created a new Florida website to assist citizens with finding federal housing assistance. The new website can be found here. The site will be a one stop source for housing information to help Floridians including those struggling to make their mortgage payments, first time homebuyer information, veteran and community information.

Florida forms team to increase aid for economy
Chief Financial Officer Alex Sink announced the formation of a “Financial Action Team” to identify federal assistance available to our state. The team is being created to ensure Florida identifies documents and leverage all resources available as a result of the passing of the recent federal housing bill. The team will consist of members from various state organizations including the Florida Association of Realtors.
