Real Trends Magazine has ranked Watson Realty Corp. REALTORS® No. 12 on its list of the 25 largest real estate firms in the United States based on a total of both residential transactions and settlement services. Watson Realty was one of only two real estate companies named on the list from the State of Florida, the other company having been ranked No. 22 and based in Plantation, FL.

REAL Trends is the nation’s leading publisher of trends and analysis on the residential real estate brokerage industry. For 18 years REAL Trends has provided its monthly readers with information concerning changes in the business of brokerage, from the Internet to the entry of new forms of brokerage services.

REAL Trends gathers and publishes information about the largest firms in the brokerage industry. They collect data on yearly sales, transactions, sales of related products and changes in productivity. Firms are ranked based on the number of closed transactions in the most recent calendar year, with submissions verified by sources outside the firm.

Watson Realty celebrates 40 years!

December 2005 marked 40 years of continued real estate service by Watson Realty Corp in Florida. The Central Florida associates had an opportunity to hear a little about the history of this company yesterday during the annual awards program. The presentation included video of past commercials, slides of print ads and a brief history lesson of the company from Bill Watson Jr., his wife and son.

The program also presented various awards and recognition to those who contributed to the continued success of Watson Realty in 2005. Several members of our Maitland team were in attendance to accept their awards for their outstanding year of production. Congratulations to all those in my office who achieved or exceeded their goals in 2005. 2006 should prove to be even more exciting and profitable.
